Imagine looking out at all of those people and being able to say they’re there to see YOUR band. Not only that, but imagine having each and every person in that crowd under your control - I’m talking about Corey Taylor getting everybody to get on their knees and to jump back up in unison. What a feeling that must have been, and what an honour to have that image etched on your mind for the rest of your life. I felt honoured just to have witnessed Slipknot’s set; imagine being the ringleader of it all.
