The quiet bit in ‘Headlights’ may actually be my favourite part of a song ever, I think that song as a whole is constructed so cleverly (there’s an actual sense of imagery, like the sounds really paint a picture - that makes no sense but I know what I mean) but the way all the drama calms down and creates this atmosphere for some of Gus’ best and most vulnerable lyrics is just genius.
